You Can Make The Difference

Once upon a time, there was a wise man who used to go to the ocean to do his writing. He had a habit of walking on the beach before he began his work. One day, as he was walking along the shore, he looked down the beach and saw a human figure moving like a dancer. He smiled to himself at the thought of someone who would dance to the day, and so, he walked faster to catch up.

As he got closer, he noticed that the figure was that of a young man, and that what he was doing was not dancing at all. The young man was reaching down to the shore, picking up small objects, and throwing them into the ocean.

He came closer still and called out "Good morning! May I ask what it is that you are doing?"

The young man paused, looked up, and replied "Throwing starfish into the ocean."

"I must ask, then, why are you throwing starfish into the ocean?" asked the somewhat startled wise man.

To this, the young man replied, "The sun is up and the tide is going out. If I don't throw them in, they'll die."

Upon hearing this, the wise man commented, "But, young man, do you not realize that there are miles and miles of beach and there are starfish all along every mile? You can't possibly make a difference!"

At this, the young man bent down, picked up yet another starfish, and threw it into the ocean. As it met the water, he said, "I made a difference to that one!" - The Star Thrower by Loren Eiseley, 1907 – 1977

This is a very touching story…. You may not able to shine everyone, but you can lend your hands to help them…

This coming Saturday (20 November 2010) is a meaningful day to all my dearest colleagues (I hope so!), as we are going to “Give Back To Society”… Some of my friends are going to visit old folks home or orphanage, and I have been assigned to go to Help University College to have fun with 200 students from all faculties.

I have no idea what should I do on that day itself… I am sure those students have full of loves, as their families can afford to send them to private university… What else they need? Most likely they carry better phone or more expensive bag then me! I am a poor worker~~~

iPhone 4

~~~~ 很笨很笨很笨很笨很笨很笨啊!!!!犹豫很久很久了,才甘愿行动,可是在最后一秒却发现 忘了带“通关卡”!!真是气死人了!!!
满街都可以看到人人都在使用iPhone 。。。 iPhone 3 iPhone 3G 再出 iPhone 3GS到今天的 iPhone 4,我依然还是用着我的Sony Ericsson K530i!有谁不想买市上最流行又实用的手机来慰劳下自己呢??好让自己也IN 一点嘛?
我啊,买iPhone 是一个梦,因为它的价钱并不便宜(当让物价所值嘛!)。每次把朋友的iPhone 握在手里时,都不甘愿放手,因为它可以被我的手指征服!!哈哈!真要谢谢Steven Paul Jobs (Apple Inc. 其中一位创始人) 的智慧结晶,让 iPhone 轻易的满足现代人的欲望!!哈哈!!
原本打算从台湾旅行回来后,就去签购iPhone 4 的配套,托上天的福,星期一到公司时就看到 Maxis 的档口摆在公司楼下的大堂。开心的我拿了价钱表就跑回工作岗位了解了解下。。。到底是要签购商业配套还是私人配套,当然这两个配套都有它的好处!想想想了很久。。。终于决定要签购私人配套!一年还是两年的合约?哈哈!!又在想想想。。。
当我把所有的问题都解决后,正准备拿出该用到的文件时, 啊呀呀呀呀!!!我竟然忘了带我的信用卡!!!没有信用卡要如何分期付款买iPhone 4 呢??因为台湾之旅已用了很多的钱,所以没有现钱来买咯!!真是的,怎么那么糊涂呢???
~~~ 无缘!!!!唯有到Maxis 店拿号码排队等待咯!!!咳~~~~
